Raymie Nightingale, Louisiana’s Way Home and Beverly Right Here are an amazing series you just have to read!!!


Raymie nightingale - Raymie’s father has just left her and her mother and Raymie is determined to get him back. She enters the Little Miss Central Florida tire competition in hopes that when she wins she will be in the newspaper and her dad will see it and come back. In the process she meets Louisiana and Beverly, her new friends.


Louisiana’s way home - when her Granny wakes her up in the middle of the night and tells her to get in the car Louisiana thinks this is just one of her Granny’s strange ideas and she knows she will be back. But will she? They get in the car and start driving right out of Florida and into Georgia. They keep driving until Granny gets a toothache. Then what???




Beverly right here - Beverly’s dog dies so she decides to leave town with her cousin to another town not far away. When she is there she gets a job at a fish restaurant and stays with this old lady named Iola Jenkins. Along the way she meets one friend and discovers more of who she is.


I like this series because of how connected you get to the characters by the end of the series. HAPPY READING!!!!

  This is not a book in the Penderwick series. My mom and I are in number 4 still. The Losers Club by Andrew Clements Main characters:  Alec, Nina, Kent Setting: Bald Ridge Elementary Summary: When Alec has to go to extended day program after school all he wants to do is read but unfortunately there is no option for that. YET. Alec wants to start his own club where he can just read but he needs to find someone else who wants to start the club. He names his club the losers club because he just wants his club to only be him and someone else. By the end of the book it is the biggest club in the  extended day program and even bigger than the active games area. At the end he has to think of some way to present to all the families at his school for back to school night. The way he presents , I think is really cool. This is a great book and Andrew Clements is my all time favorite author so in those regards I would recommend any of his books. Happy reading! I may or may not do a...
