    Harper, that was so much fun! GrandBob and I had quite a laugh taking your quiz. We both were Fun Seekers ( which is good since we do things together all the time! ). We love to have fun in nature, especially when we can have that fun with those we care about so much (like you and your family!). Looking forward to more adventures this year.

    Hi Harper--that *was* really fun! I had 5 Bs and 2 As, so I guess I am mostly a type B, leaning slightly toward A. Is this what you expected?  :)

  T he Penderwicks at Point Mouette   Author: Jeanne Birdsall Main characters: Skye, Jane, Batty, Alec, Jeffrey, and Aunt Clarie Summary: when the three younger sisters go to Point Mouette with their favorite aunt and Jeffrey comes with them to get away from his mean family, Skye has to face the challenges of being the OAP(oldest available Penderwick) and trying to let Batty not blow up. They have all these adventures including Jeffrey finding his long lost father.  I really like this book because I thought it was a little funny when Skye was trying to be a good OAP and do everything else because Aunt Claire got a little hurt . I recommend this book for everyone because it is a funny novel and very heartwarming when Jeffrey finds his dad. This book will want to keep you reading even when it is past your bedtime!

  The Lemonade war, by Jacqueline Davies The lemonade war is about two siblings, Jessie and Evan Treski who get mad at each other because Jessie skipped a grade and Jessie and Evan will be in the same grade which Evan does not want. Five days before school, the Treski family gets a letter saying Jessie and Evan will be in the same class next year. Evan does not want that so  he says he hates Jessie and has a lemonade stand with this kid who Evan thinks is a jerk.. Jessie wants to challenge Evan so she starts a commotion, who can earn the most money in five day by just selling lemonade. The goal was $100 and the winner kept it all.  I really enjoyed this book because it teaches you about money and I really like lemonade. The other good thing that I like about this book is that the characters are about the same age as me and I can relate to them a lot easier. The last thing that I like about this book is that I am very similar to Jessie, but not in the sense of being the yo...

Restart - by Gordon Korman

  Restart, By Gordon Korman Main character: Chase Ambrose Summary: Chase does not remember his life before he fell off the roof of his house and hit his head. The first chapter of this book takes place in the hospital. Most of the other parts of this book take place either at a senior citizen home or his school.  This book is all about how Chase has changed since his fall. He used to be the school bully, but now he is a really nice kid with new friends and he does not bully anyone anymore.  Trouble still finds him though because of his old bully friends. At the end of the book, something happens and Chase remembers one of his only memories that happened before he fell.   I really liked this book because it really shows that if you were bad before you can change that. This book also has a lesson that even if it is really late you can still take back your actions that were on purpose and were not smart and make them ok.
